The Committee gave consideration to a report highlighting the Council annual carbon emissions for the period 2022/23.

Decision

The Policy and Resources Committee noted –

1.     the publication of the Council’s 2022/23 Public Bodies Climate Change Duties report, confirming a 6% decrease in emissions reported for the year, noting that the Council’s carbon footprint reduced by 1,705 tCO₂e, from 28,217 tCO₂e in 2021/22 to 26,512 tCO₂e in 2022/23; and

2.     the Full Decarbonisation Tracker update attached at Appendix A to the submitted report.
