Aspiring Places: helping raise awareness of community projects

We are asking communities to take part in a short survey to understand the current level of awareness of community projects across ߣsirÊÓƵ and Bute.

In spring 2025, ߣsirÊÓƵ and Bute Council will launch ‘Aspiring Places – Community Projects in ߣsirÊÓƵ and Bute’.  This is a new initiative to help raise awareness of the range of projects, community groups and organisations are planning or would like to carry out.

The council aims to collect information about aspirational community projects across ߣsirÊÓƵ and Bute in one digital space. The purpose of the initiative is to support community groups in attracting funding for their projects.

Before launching the initiative, the council is asking communities to take part in a short survey to understand the current level of awareness of community projects across ߣsirÊÓƵ and Bute.

How to Get Involved

If you are a resident of ߣsirÊÓƵ and Bute or work with a local community organisation, the council wants to hear from you. You can complete a brief survey online here -

The survey will remain open until 31st of March 2025.

If you have any questions, please email AspiringPlaces@argyll-bute.gov.uk.

Feedback will help the council to measure the success of the overall initiative in the future and better shape how information about local projects is exchanged with communities.
