A public consultation on the updated designs for an active travel route between Lochgilphead Front Green and the Crinan Canal is now underway.

This consultation will be open until 15th April 2025.

The preferred design has been developed in consultation with ߣsirÊÓƵ and Bute Council, Transport Scotland, Scottish Canals, the local community and other key stakeholders.

We would like to thank everyone who attended the in person drop-in-event that was held in the Lochgilphead Baptist Church on Tuesday 4th March.

This work is being fully funded through Transport Scotland’s Local Authority Direct Award scheme. This funding scheme was formerly known as Cycling Walking Safer Streets and can only be used for active travel projects.
