Court Skills Training

11th September 2025 Sheriff Court, Lochgilphead 1pm - 4pm

 

COURSE AIMS:

·         To offer participants guidance and support surrounding the issues of court conduct and giving evidence in court

·         To assist participants in gaining knowledge of the legal proceedings and processes within the court room for children’s referrals.

·         To increase staff confidence in this area

 

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

ߣsirÊÓƵ & Bute Council or NHS Highland staff working with children and families, who may in the course of their work receive a citation for court from the Children’s Reporter, Procurator Fiscal or any Legal Agent.

Please note places are limited to 25, so please book early to avoid disappointment. As this training replicates a court scenario no refreshments are provided.

CHARGING POLICY:

All A&B interagency training courses are free. Those unable to attend must advise us on 01546 604316 in advance. A £30 administration fee applies to all those who fail to attend without notice.
